Initial Story: The Iceberg is Melting
I have attended a conference about global warming in 4 years ago. When I went to the office of Green Peace, and NGO, I saw many photographers went to the iceberg and took many impressive photos about iceberg melting and the pollution of factories in the world, which shocked me a lot. I realized that even in this peaceful world, there are some beautiful scenes are disappearing.
From my previous research, activity tracking data means nothing for users.
Through our research, we identify two problems we want to solve:
1. People understand the environment issue and they care about environmental protection, but they do not know what they can do.
2. People are lack of motivation to protect the environment. Traditional campaigns are not attractive enough for people to keep doing right thing.
The problem of version 1 is whether users want to see data more or see the iceberg more. If we present the iceberg, it tends to like a game rather than a general quantified us app. Then we came up with version2.
In order to promote new events and tips about environment protection. We came up with version 2.
To highlight the entertainment side of this product, I finally decided to show only the iceberg in the homepage.
Goal: Aesthetic, Well-organized multi-dimension information
