Customer problems
As a customer, I'm not aware of benefits and deals that I have on DoorDash.
Challenges
Getting into a surface like homepage that has multiple owners is not an easy thing. I drove team and leadership alignment by creating rapid prototypes, conducting user testings, and showing and telling using data. Another challenge is the actual execution. To make sure our engineers never miss a single detail, I create thorough spec.
Objectives
The goal is to have a non-invasive experience that is cohesive with all other components on homepage, which ended up driving order rate, and end up impacting our MAU & GMV.
Impact
Launched in 2025, it's driving $4X million GMV and 5X,000 MAU.
